What is a deckbuilder?
A deckbuilder is a card game where the player builds the deck during play. It starts small, cards are added or removed between fights, and combinations win the game. Slay the Spire, Balatro and Monster Train are deckbuilders.
Deckbuilders share a shop and diverge right after. Balatro scores poker hands. Monster Train defends floors. Inscryption turns the table into a mystery. Slay the Spire climbs a map of fights.
