Fest + demo + Thursday, zero patches, one language

Read this as a documented case and an editorial interpretation, not a controlled test of one marketing tactic. The figures describe their stated period and source. A comparable game's production budget, private sales or conversion cannot be inferred when the case does not disclose them.

The Last Humble Bee released Thursday 21 November 2024, in the window the observatory treats as least harmful. Next Fest October (Noisy Pixel roundup). Demo still on the store. Two trailers, twelve achievements, a long description.

Seven screenshots, one language. No patch in Steam news after launch. Solo. 19 reviews, 89%.

The calendar was the right setting. It rescued nothing: not the thin page, not the silence afterwards. This is the direct counter to “aim for Thursday and you’ll be fine”.

Day of week is a handicap to avoid, no plan. Humble Bee avoided the handicap. It did not have the rest.
