Risk of Rain 2 is a third-person action roguelike for one to four players: you land on an alien planet, stack items that multiply your damage, and race a difficulty that rises every minute.
What kind of game is it?
Each stage is an open map with a teleporter to charge while monsters pour in. Chests cost gold whose price grows with time, so every minute spent looting makes the next wave stronger. Items stack without limit, and a long run ends with the screen full of lightning, missiles and explosions.
Who is it for?
For players who want co-op runs that snowball until the screen is pure chaos.
