Palworld
Pocketpair
Creature survival craft. Steam page (survival corpus): 477,157 reviews at 95%, Early Access-turned-released row with price 28.99 EUR on 17 August 2026. Shypiard will not call this obscure.
A visibility event in OWSC, no hidden gem
Palworld is useful as a scale reference, not as a template. Cute pals plus firearms is both the design and the press story. This teardown does not litigate the controversy; the store reading simply records a huge review pile in Open World Survival Craft.
Compare Valheim: same aisle, slower myth, still Early Access in the same dump. Two ways to occupy OWSC. Neither is a checklist.
Next Fest is listed no. Demo no. The launch was no fest booth. Anyone reading this as 'just do creatures' is skipping the distribution problem their own game still has.
Player page and teardown stay split: one answers what to play, this one answers what kind of market event you are looking at.
