Steam artwork — Minit
Quick read

Minit kills you every sixty seconds. The items you picked up stay, so the whole game is a routing problem: what can you reach, use and bank before the timer runs out again.

What kind of game is it?

A one-bit top-down adventure in sixty-second lives. You wake at a house, walk out, and die on the minute; swords, flippers and keys persist, and each new tool shortens the path to the next one. Houses you unlock become new spawn points, which is the only thing that makes the later map reachable at all.

Who is it for?

For players who miss waking at the house with sixty seconds already ticking.

What makes it different?

The timer is the level design. Distance is measured in seconds, so a shortcut is worth more than a weapon upgrade. Nothing is randomised: the same sixty seconds are there every time, waiting to be spent better.
