Summit is the thin-page counter-example: six screenshots (under the 8 threshold), one language, a trailer, a long description, sixteen achievements. Friday 28 April 2023. A 2022 demo sits in Steam news and is gone from the store as of 17 August 2026.

Solo developer Dominik Hackl said the numbers out loud: about 1,000 wishlists, a 40% launch sale, $326 Steam net since April 2023. Steam news shows two demo livestreams in June 2022. No post-launch patch observed.

Twelve reviews, 83% positive. The game was not “badly received”. It is no longer there. A thin page does not help; silence after day one finishes it.

Before sending a metroidvania creator at this kind of page, fix the shots and the language. Paying for traffic toward a one-language storefront is paying for nothing to read.
