Game menu and controller input
Xbox Accessibility Guideline 107 says a UI should be navigable with single, non-simultaneous key presses, and that players should be able to remap controls inside the game. The basic Game Accessibility Guidelines also list remapping, one input method for both UI and gameplay, and simpler controls.
UIs throughout the game should support digital and analog navigation, including menu UI and in-game UI. A UI should be navigable by using single, non-simultaneous key presses.
Players should be given the option to remap all controls within the game itself, even when the platform already offers remapping. When a control is remapped, hints, tips, tutorials, and controller maps should show the new label.
The guideline describes Grounded on PC offering arrow keys to look around so a mouse is not essential, Minecraft settings adjusted with single presses, and Gears 5 offering in-game remapping plus separate x and y invert. Shypiard did not capture those screens.
Basic motor guidelines: let players remap controls, keep controls simple or offer a simpler alternative, and make every interface area reachable with the same input method as gameplay.

Still unknown
- No Shypiard UI screenshot was verified against an official Steam library for this page.
- The four issues the Game Accessibility Guidelines call most complained about are attributed to their own social and publisher tracking, not to a public sample size on the page.
